Don’t miss the Kenya Club Soccer Tournament on Sunday, April 14 at Brebeuf.  This 4-on-4 tournament will benefit the Kenya Carnival scholarship fund.  Stay tuned for more details.

Exciting changes are ahead for next year’s carnival.  Join us for a Kenya Carnival Planning Party on Sunday, March 17 or check back here for more details.

Many thanks to everyone who participated in the Girl Effect Challenge with Global Giving.  Your efforts helped us raise more than $12,000 for the GET UP program for adolescent girls in Chulaimbo.  In addition, we may be featured as a Girl Effect project on GlobalGiving.org for 2013.

I would like very much to meet with someone so I can learn more about your mission and your fundraising. I m involved with a new mission in Nairobi and we are currently deciding how we can effectivelt raise funds and it looks to me you have people with great methods of recruiting volunteers as well as getting the people out to your carnival.

  6. I’m awed by the wonderful work you are doing. I have worked in Kenya, Mitunguu – Diocese of Meru for the past ten years and our struggle always was to keep kids in school because of lack of Funds. In 2007, I helped a number of Street Boys have access to education We were able to build a fitting accommdation for about 75Boys, but the challenge now is to help them reeceive a good education or they will go right back to the Street. Pray for our Boys a give me any pointers that may help. THANKS!

Thank you for your kind words! It sounds like you are doing wonderful work with the street boys, and I hope God continues to bless your efforts.
