With the Carnival less than a month away, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
In the Community:
- Join us as we Paint the Town with flyers on August 18! Meet at Second Pres at 3 p.m.
- Sign up for a specific area of town.
- Wear Kenya Carnival t-shirt, bring tape & thumbtacks.
- Share an overview of the project and ask to hang both sides of flyer (if space allows). If only one side, hang side with Carnival info.
- Ask to leave postcards near cash register.
At Your School:
- Make announcements the week of the carnival.
- Hang posters & flyers (some schools require permission so check now!)
- Have lunch promotion – pass out flyers & sell t-shirts.
- Sell admission bands the week of the carnival (avail. Aug. 27th).
- Have radio & video announcements (general video coming soon) – Promotional “blurbs” are further down this page!
- Promote Carnival at sports events – cross country, football games, etc.
At Your Congregation:
- Have Kenya Carnival Promotion Sunday! – Make an announcement during service & have pew envelopes for donations.
- Sell admission bands and t-shirts during coffee hour!
- Submit written announcement for weekly bulletin or monthly newsletter – Promotional “blurbs” are further down this page!
- Hang flyers on bulletin boards or in hallways.
- Pass out flyers or postcards the week before the Carnival in Sunday School classes and Pre-school classes (ask permission in advance).
With Your Friends and Family:

- Forward email messages promoting the carnival – we will send
- Personally invite friends, family, teachers with letter flyer
- Pass out flyers to neighbors

Our 2012 goal is to support 100 high school students by providing them with an education, supplies, and a daily meal. The cost is $325 per student, so $32,500 is our goal!
